Chihoi was born in 1977 in Hong Kong. His major comic books include the collaborative Hijacking – Comic Hong Kong Literature, The Train, and solo Still Life. In recent years, he focuses on some larger drawings and paintings, besides the collaborative work with nos:books.

The Emperor's New Clothes is a series of drawings of modern buildings covered in bamboo scaffolding during renovation. They depict a dense and melancholic cityscape of Hong Kong.
