The series Accuse e Scuse (engl. accusations and apologies) consists of small-format oil pastel drawings depicting people in various constellations as they cope with the imminent death of a loved one. They engage in everyday activities, dance, cook, mourn; alone or with others, in silence or amidst noise, accusing and forgiving, while the living and the dead existing equally side by side.

Milva Stutz is an artist based in Zurich. Her figurative drawings examines the dynamics of interpersonal relationships: the awkwardness, intimacy, physicality and emotionality in a time characterized by uncertainty. Her works have been exhibited internationally at exhibitions and film festivals, most recently at Istituto Svizzero Roma, Kunsthaus Langenthal, Kunsthaus Zurich, Kunsthalle Luzern, Centre Culturel Suisse, Paris, a&o Kunsthalle Leipzig and Bildraum07 Vienna.
