Like much of Lexier’s work, this zine is based on a found image. In this case, a diagram labeled "Fig.79 – Evaporation in a closed vessel." found in a vintage science book. Working from this small illustration, with his frequent collaborator Lisa Naftolin, Lexier has rationalized and concretized this drawing of minuscule water droplets forming and dissipating, standardizing it into a series of graduated dots and lines. This imagery has taken many forms including wall drawings, a boxed sticker set, a die-cut multiple, a printed t-shirt and more. Lexier’s previous zine with Nieves Invitation Drawings made with Noelle Rößler, age 5, consists of Noelle’s drawings on top of some of Fig.79 dots.
