Margins is a refined document of a year’s worth of fieldwork. Drawing inspiration from anthropological books of past civilizations, Evan Meister uses collage, graphite and ink to create the still lifes, spiritual diagrams and found vessels of a mental state. With findings from hour long commutes, video chats and nights in snowed-in basements, Meister uncovers a world of debt towers, antique bongs and aliens with dead end jobs.
