A story is told through song and guitar – Driven by a sense of unease, a dinosaur embarks on a journey in search of happiness. He encounters a helpful forest psychiatrist, and then, quite unexpectedly, the dinosaur forms a delightful new acquaintance. The record is part of a set together with the zine of the same name (sold individually). The 7-inch vinyl features the song Here Comes the Story of the Dinosaur on the A-side and an etched drawing on the B-side.

Alex Schauwecker is an artist and musician born in Kyoto in 1982 and based in Zurich. His work moves between drawing, storytelling, and music. In his stories the protagonists sometimes are whales, wolves or dinosaurs. These animals are archaic beings for the artist, with whom he can identify. They do not live in nature far away from civilization, but move around in an urban environment. They must steadily face the challenges of today's life and find their way.
